We know you are!
Your true self is perfect. However, knowing that intellectually doesn’t necessarily translate into finding that place within you where it is easy to forgive.
Daniel and I have both been challenged many times over the years by people who we thought had betrayed us and stabbed us in the back. Ever felt some sudden, inexplicable sharp upper back pain? Yes, that’s the one!
It wasn’t until we became clear about not allowing anyone or anything to prevent us from staying in our hearts, connected to our true selves, that we were able to truly forgive — which means from a place of unconditional love.
Forgiveness. It’s a big and profoundly important choice only you can make. To stay empowered and on track it’s critical to learn that you are the screenwriter, producer, director and star of your own life and only you can write the script for how you either respond creatively or react habitually in those scripts you give out for everyone to read.
When something or someone hurts you, ask yourself, “What do I believe about myself?” and, “What do I need to learn from this situation?”
If you are having trouble being able to forgive, here’s a quick and easy tool. Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, roll your shoulder back and down and tap into you heart. From here, make the choice to reconnect to your true self—where forgiveness happens automatically.
If you are still having trouble with the big “F” word there’s lots of great information, tools, practices and guidance in our #1international best selling book PEACE: Power Up Your Life. It’s a quick and empowering read and only $3.99 on Kindle or $9.99 in paperback at Amazon… it will get you there!
